Painstakingly forged using only hand tools, the blade is meticulously shaped from resilient 5160 leaf spring steel, ensuring exceptional durability and edge retention. The 5" long white Sadan wood full-tang handle not only adds a touch of natural elegance but also provides a comfortable and secure grip for effortless handling. With an overall length of approximately 16" and a weight of about 800 grams, including the white sheath, this Nepalese masterpiece is a true workhorse.
Handforged by the Kami/Biswakarma castes, the traditional inheritors of the art of kukri-making, this kukri is crafted using the finest quality materials in a time-honored fashion with tried-and-true tools. The blade, with a thickness of approximately 3/8" or 10mm at the spine, is incredibly sharp and easy to maintain, as it is made of high-grade carbon steel akin to car springs or railway tracks.
