Handmade 10-Inch Kukri Knife with Leather Sheath
This particular Khukri is a replica of the current issue BSI, boasting a traditional look and feel with a distinctive angular curved blade and a traditional-style handle with a flared bottom. The blade has a very straight line from the elbow to the tip, and a thick spine consistent all the way to the bevel tip, making it incredibly sturdy and strong. This Khukri features a large sweet spot for chopping, and the rat tail tang blade is gripped strongly inside the handle with traditional epoxy, secured by a metal brass bolster at the neck and the pommel.
The "OM" shaped notch at the neck prevents blood from dripping, ensuring an uncompromising sturdy grip during action. This Kukri is hand-forged and handmade by "Biswakarma," who are born Khukuri makers, and whose skills are bestowed upon by their ancestors. High-grade carbon steel is forged to shape the angular, inward-sharp blades, providing maximum strength and durability.
The scabbard is made of wood wrapped with a leather sheath, and the tip is also adorned with metal brass that matches the neck and pommel, giving it an aesthetic look. This Khukuri has a reasonable size length, a wide profile, and is relatively light, making it highly functional.
